NoViolet has been named among the 6 shortlisted for this years Man Booker prize award for her novel ‘We Need New Names’ .
The award prize which carries a prize of £50,000 will be competing against 5 other British, Canadian, Irish , Indian -Americans authors also nominated for the award.
This will be the first time to have a Zimbabwean up for this award.
