The designer Eli’s bespoke/ custom- made designs is every stylish person’s dream. With her previous experience in Art, the desires of the client is put into a sketch, measured accordingly, before it goes into production, ensuring they are made with precision.

House Of Aranu believes “Style is a way to say who you are without speaking”, it also believes “A woman should be two things: Classy and Absolutely Fabulous Always”.

House of Aranu is known for it’s specially designed custom-made clothes , bespoke and structured to celebrate a woman’s curves and shape, regardless of age and size. Over the years, House of Aranu has continued to make clothes that flatter the woman’s body and eccentuate her curves in the right places using African fabrics, Western fabrics, Asain fabrics, and luxury fabrics .

‘As we deal with custom-made designs and styles, it makes it easier to choose exactly what suits you best. Not only do you choose your style, we also help with any advice regarding which fabrics to use for specific designs and how best to co-ordinate them’ says Eli the creative designer.
As she reveals, the labels selling point is that, you also get a hand drawn description of your chosen style during consultation with the designer which will not only show you exactly how the designer sees it but also give you the benefit of seeing your idea and description come to light on paper and exactly how it will look like when finished.

Eli picked up her designing skills from the tender age of five and loved picking her styles and seeing them being made. This inspired her to want to own her own business designing and making magic with materials someday amid other dreams and passions. Eli comes from a family of well established fashion designers and dress makers. As a baby, she was babysat by her Aunty who is a dressmaker and also her mum is a renowned designer.

Apart from fashion, Eli has other interests in arts, hair and anything creative and loves to explore all her God given talents at the least given opportunity. After successfully finishing a Business Studies course at college, she enrolled on a fashion course and went on to study Human Resource Management at university.

Equipped with all the business skills and knowledge, she has gone back to her first love of designing and sewing and established her own fashion empire which she named “House of Aranu” (The House of Great Ideas) in the summer of 2011 after graduating from university.
The “House” representing her home and family and “Aranu” meaning Ideas in her native language Ewe. Eli’s ideas, styles and designs are ever improving and moves with the trend and looks forward to moving to other business ventures in the very near future. This powerful Ghanian woman of talent continues to grow from strength to strength as more and more women discover their beauty as they come in contact with the exquisite designs from House of Aranu.
