Did Lupita Nyong'o get it wrong this time? #MetGala

We’ve been all Lupita forward since the beautiful young soul appeared on world screen with her role in 12 years a slave grabbing every award on her way. We all have had a total breath of fresh air.  She arguably is the most beautiful face in Nollywood , best dressed at all times. But this … At last night’s MET Gala is not  to everyone’s taste. No doubt she pulled it of as always, but the ensemble and the entire lace net, grassy jungle thing hasn’t worked to her credit at all.

Yemi Osunkoya  the renowned African designer and creative director at Kosibah  is one of the big names in fashion world to voice his disapproval on Lupita’s outfit . He posted on his Facebook, ‘ for the first time I’m disappointed to say I have seen Lupita in what is frankly a ridiculous ‘costume’. She’s usually spot on.  Friends we’re quick to agree to that with one comment from Cheryl Juliette saying,  ” hmmmmm, seems like a different designer played let’s dress a lil silly today. Smh!”  Other comment were, oh Lupita is human,  met is all about fun and she looks like she’s enjoying it. What do you think, trashy or trendy?
