Kate Osamor emerges Edmonton Labour Candidate for parliament.

Kate Osamor, a GP practice manager,  confirms she would contest the seat for the Labour Party with a tweet . She tweeted, ” Honoured to be Labour’s new candidate to fight for @EdmontonLabour and follow in the footsteps of @AndyLoveMP”.  MP Andy Love, the current North London MP  revealed  earlier his plans to stand down at the next General Election.

Kate Osamor  a well known  Trade  unionist has  now been selected as  the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PCC) for Edmonton after a rigorous selection process that started from 80 down to 3 candidates including Cllr Kate Anolue pictured below with Kate Osamor PPC.

A plethora of congratulatory messages continue to pour in as the biggest names in Labour Party took to twitter to congratulate the 28years old would be MP.  Among the first to congratulate her are – Chuka Umunna, Diane Abbott, Ken Livingston and David Lammy.
