The pre-fall 2017 collections let us know the go to trends for the next few months. We thought that we would share our favourites so that you can see how our summer wardrobes will be shaping up. If you like to follow the trends then our guide will help you decide what you want to spend your hard earned cash on next season.

Kitsch prints

The latter half of 2017 will be jam packed with geometric Seventies style prints. These will be joined by cartoon animal prints for something that little bit different. The graphics will be popular in retro shades of ochre and earthy browns.

Floor skimming flares

Trousers will be given a makeover that includes floor skimming hemlines. While they aren’t always practical in wet weather they do make up for this by giving you the appearance of longer legs.

Utility glam

This season’s utility style won’t leave you looking like you are off on safari. It isn’t all about khaki as Versace showed beautiful designs in rich mulberry. Combat pants also made the catwalk at the Chloe show. This trend is one of the easiest to slot into your wardrobe, just go for pieces with a military vibe.

Red and pink

One of our favourite trends is clashing colours so bring on shades of pillar box red and fuchsia. The more vibrant the shades the better!

Knee high boots

The thigh high boot was everywhere this past season but things are now moving towards a more demure look. This coming autumn it is all about the knee high boot which is much easier to wear.

Business blazer

This season blazers mean business with sharp angular tailoring. For extra style points choose professional looking grey or delicious cappuccino.

Oversized day dress

Oversized pieces are set to be everywhere this autumn so make sure you get in first with an oversized floral smock style dress.
