This season it’s all about taking makeup that little bit further and really making a statement. We love the chance to experiment with our look and give something new a go so we’ve put together some bold yet wearable makeup looks for you to try this season.

Statement blue

Don’t worry about trying to create a look that is very neat and put together. The idea with blue eyeshadow is to be quite carefree with it which keeps it looking fresh. All you need is a bit of attitude and confidence to carry this trend off.

Glitter

We remember glitter eyeshadow from school discos but this time it has got a lot edgier. Forget the girly, mermaid look and experiment with it. Think of it as an embellishment. If it falls onto your lower lid and cheeks then don’t worry about it and if it gets clumped onto your eyelashes then just roll with it. It was meant to look like that.

Glossy skin

Skin that looked like polished glass was all over the SS18 shows. Think of naturally hydrated skin with a high shine finish for an almost wet look. This trend is all about achieving glossy skin that looks like you just woke up like it.

Red lips

Get rid of your matte red lipstick and instead a glossy, glazed look. You want lots of pigment with a glossy topcoat for a vinyl wet look. Don’t worry about using lipliner as you want to give your lips a soft edge. You can also achieve this by using a little blending brush to lightly blur the edges.
