Ben McBean . Everyday Heroes of our time.

An all time inspiring and hugely motivating character worth knowing. 27 year old Ben businessman is a double amputee who has managed to recover from stepping on a Taliban landmine in 2008 to running the London Marathon within 12 months of losing his limbs,  he ran it again in 2010 without realising he had a stress fracture in his stump. Brought home on the same flight as Prince Harry, Ben’s injuries were so serious his chances of survival were slim but not only did he survive he is back living a full and fruitful life.

Ben received under £300,000 in compensation from the MOD to cover the loss of his limbs and numerous other injuries and rather than wasting it he invested it very wisely. He now has a property portfolio worth over £2 million. A prolific speaker he receives standing ovations every time with his massively motivating speeches. They are superbly presented and he inspires everyone he meets with his determined approach to a life without his left arm and lower right leg (and numerous other injuries.)
