In a statement made available to members of the press today he stated, “Our vision with C. Hub magazine is to give Africans and African descent a voice in global branding and this can not be achieved without excellence and hard work. To sustain these values, CA award was born to recognise and celebrate excellence and the contributions of our African creative in this era globally.”
Continuing, the Kalango author added, “I urge every lover of creativity, talent and African heritage to join us to recognise, celebrate and honour our colleagues – writers, designers, filmmakers, artists, DJs and all people making use of their talent. Our future has never been brighter as it is today. Without these folks, fashion will not evolve, music will not excite, and films will not inspire. We are delighted to once again lead the way as the finalists are shortlisted today to awaken our inner power to doo more.”
