Avoid being caught without something to wear with our list of seven things that every woman should own.

A White T-Shirt

A plain white t-shirt is so versatile. It is perfect for wearing on its own with jeans, tucked into a skirt or layered up. This is definitely an essential and so easy to dress up or down.

A Stylish Blazer

The blazer is great for finishing off your outfit. If the weather is a little chilly then throw on a blazer. Looking for a professional office outfit? Throw on a blazer. Need edgy outer wear for that elegant cocktail dress? Then just throw on a blazer.

Classic Black Trousers

A well cut pair of black trousers are another must. It doesn’t matter whether they are low rise, flared or high waisted just as long as they fit well and you feel great in them. Pair with a blouse for work wear or a relaxed tee for the weekend.

Dark Denim

Dark denim is the most flattering by far. It doesn’t matter what shape you are, darker washes have more of a slimming effect than a bleach wash. Dark denim is also much easier to dress up so you will get much more wear out of it.

A Simple White Shirt

Another item with multiple outfit options. There are so many different style of white shirt that it is easy to find one that suits. Oversized white shirts look great with tailored trousers. The cut of a shirt can also help to balance out your frame so if you want to make your chest look bigger choose a shirt with detailing, like pockets or ruffles, to the front.

A Little Black Dress

You just knew that the LBD would be on the list. It looks stylish worn on its own but it can also be treated like a blank canvas ready for accessories to be added.

A Statement Bag
Your handbag has the power to really make a statement. It doesn’t matter if that bag is a leather tote or embellished clutch. Your choice of bag can really make your whole look.
