Fans can now make sense of the many pull outs of several tournaments since beating sister Venus in January at the Australian open for her 23rd grand slam title. Last month the Ms Williams pulled out of Indian Wells and Miami Open citing a knee injury.

The 35 year old tennis champion announced last year of her engagement to fiancé Alexis Ohanian, a co-founder of Reddit.

Having conquered the world of tennis, Serena can be said to have achieved all milestones she could ever imagine with the news of her baby on the way.
