Nigerian renowned author and philosopher, Eze Ihenacho releases his latest book ‘Our World in Metaphors.’

Prince Ezem Ihenacho an Approved Mental Health Professional, an Advocate of Humanity, a Humanitarian and Broadcaster, includes his funeral oration in the thought provoking title, ‘Our World In Metaphors. Driven by the truth.’

The prolific and thought-provoking writer from 2010, has written the following books: Hard Hitting! The real truth about men, marriage & infidelity, published in 2010; Your Child, My Child, Whose Child, published in 2012; and ‘Humility of the brain’ in defence of humanity, which was published in 2014. In his humorous nature, he has recently proven to also be a teeth weightlifter.

THE BOOK: OUR WORLD IN METAPHORS DRIVEN BY THE TRUTH.

‘Our World In Metaphor’, which is ‘Driven By the Truth’ offers an in-depth and thought-provoking insight into the state of our world as a body, the dangers ahead and proposes solutions to help save our world by thoroughly overhauling, replacing and repairing all its damaged parts. Touching issues such as identity, domestic violence, mental health, world leadership and his own funeral oration saying, he doesn’t want to be misrepresented by people who never really knew him when he dies.

An interesting metaphoric approach to trying to address these issues. In this book, the author poses this thought provoking question; “What would be the state of this body (our world) when those representing the hand and head decide to cripple the leg or delude themselves to think that they would benefit from weakening, confusing and subduing the leg? What would happen to the body when the leg fails in its duty not only to itself but, to the entire body and acts as inferior to the rest?

Almost as if soliloquising, he answers the question pointing the reader deeper into realising and identifying the root cause of most of the issues that is ravaging our world. He said, “Both the inferior and superior in a body (a world) that cannot function without differences—a body that can only function based on respect for differences, complement, and collaboration—are guilty and responsible for all the evils of this world.”

In the book, he went on to illustrate that, “Irrational and confused thinking have brought about irrational and confused actions. Hence humanity is at war with itself. He states “Adjust and expand your thinking for your own good, the good of your loved ones and the good of humanity. The fight is on right here; it is either we fight to save humanity now by embracing the facts, or we face the dire consequences.” He also warns that, humanity has boxed itself into a tight and dangerous corner hence, it now looks in specific, wrong places for answers when, answers could be in the place least expected.

Our World in Metaphors, is a thought provoking insight into our world today using metaphoric analogies to draw the reader into visualising the world we have now compared to the world we ought to have.
