Nigerian player, Ahmed Musa loses mother after a brief illness.

Few days ago, the now Al-Nassr player tweeted of his mother being unwell which prompted several prayers and well wishes from fans.
Unfortunately today, the player used Twitter also to tell of the unfortunate loss of a dear mother, using a blackout picture to depict his mourning and pain. Hundreds of thousands of fans continue to commiserate with the player and our thoughts are also with him and the entire family.

Ahmed is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays as a forward and left winger for Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr and the Nigeria national team.

Musa is best known as the first Nigerian to score more than once in a FIFA World Cup match, after scoring twice against Argentina in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Musa is also the first Nigerian to score in two FIFA World Cup competitions, after scoring twice against Iceland in the group stage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
