Divas of Colour Festival

This year’s Divas of Colour International Women’s Festival which is usualy held every March was postponed earlier to July due to the covid19 pandemic.

However, the organisers have also decided to move the date further until October 24th, 2020 to allow for the best time when participants can conveniently travel and attend the international event.

The statement released to the press reads as follows:

“Further to the government’s guidance and measures to gradually reopen the economy, we wish to announce a further postponement in the date for this year’s Divas of Colour festival.

The new date is Saturday, 24 October 2020, at Hilton Hotel Canary Wharf, London. Although we have decided to move the date, everything else remains as planned.

The leisure and events sector have been hit the hardest during this pandemic and venues are taking extra measures to meet the guidelines set out to become covid19 safe for gatherings.

Taking everything into consideration, we have decided and reached an agreement with our venue to further move the date to when we believe will be safe for our guests, speakers, models, staff working in the front and back of the house as well as when it will be more beneficial for our partners, exhibitors and designers. Our interest remains your safety and to bring you an excellent experience.

We regret any inconveniences this may cause you and hope that this will sit well with many of you as we do our best to navigate back to what will feel as normal as possible moving forward post covid19 pandemic.”
