gayle oxfordThe highly anticipated film, Oxford Gardens, from the highly acclaimed director, Obi Emelonye (Mirror Boy, Last Flight to Abuja, Onyeozi) is set to rock Cinemas in Nigeria tonight upon its release and premier.
Showing at major cinemas in major state cities, including; Illorin, Port Harcourt and of course, Lagos.

The film which tells the tale of two lost souls, one a cancer patient and the other, a failed boxer seeking redemption, who upon a chance meeting, change each other’s lives irrevocably.
With great car stunts and a believable story line, this movie is set to keep its audience on the edge of their sit!
Shot entirely in England, in many stunning locations like, Surrey, Birmingham and the stunning garden of the Royal Chelsea and Kensington Borough, ‘Oxford Gardens’ also boasts a great cast, including; Savannah Roy, a French Paris based model and actress, Nnena Ani, a UK based award winning actress, Iffy Chukwu, Ferguson Jack, Abiye Tobin-Spiff and many more.

It also introduces to the world of acting, D’Richy Obi-Emelonye, the director’s daughter, who performed brilliantly for her very first film acting debut.

Speaking to the lead actress, Ngozi, about her experiences while shooting Oxford Gardens, she admits that ‘…it was a very challenging role, but the end result justifies all the hard work and efforts put in by everyone involved, in the making of the film, from the director to the actors to the crew.’
We certainly cannot wait to see it.
