AM_World_Cup_Trophy_Tour_1The 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Trophy Tour by Coca‑Cola has today arrived in Great Britain and has delighted one lucky town with a surprise visit to Southend.
The solid gold Trophy was unveiled during a football training session at Shoeburyness High School to a group of unsuspecting lucky teenagers and their coach Rachael O’Brien.
Rachael came out on top in a campaign run by Coca‑Cola Great Britain StreetGames, a sports charity supported by Coca‑Cola Great Britain since 2010 – encouraging coaches and teams to nominate individuals who had made an outstanding contribution in their community. The reward being the FIFA World Cup™ Trophy making its first visit to their local town during the GB leg of the tour.
Rachael is a sports coach and mentor working with young people from deprived areas in Southend – and has been doing so for the past 18 months.
