The UK parliament has voted overwhelmingly in support UK military airstrike on the Islamic State of Iraq by 524 to 43, majority of 481. As a result of which labour MP and education shadow minister Rushanara Ali resigns from the party’s front bench in order to abstain in vote over military action.
