Black Excellence: Bozoma Saint John continues to scale through top corporate America.

From PepsiCo and Apple Music, Bozoma is now leaving Uber for Endeavor

Bozoma Saint John is an epitome of #BlackgirlMagic, the euloquised strong black woman.

She calls herself a natural born hustler but we see a woman who is not just a hustlers but smart, articulate, and exudes confidence.

The sought after marketing executive has been navigating through corporate America tearing down all barriers.

The 41-year-old continues to scale up through corporate America as she hops from one major company to another on a high demand. From companies such as; PepsiCo and Apple Music, as one of the few Black women executives in technology. After leaving Apple Music as its head of consumer marketing to become Uber’s chief brand officer in 2017, Bozoma is now on her way onto a bigger fish, confirming her last day with Uber as June 22nd, to become the Chief Executive chief marketing officer for Endeavor. An entertainment company that is a leading talent agency for celebrities and Saint John will “[focus] on a range of creative connections between its enormous talent portfolio and big brands such as WME, IMG, UFC, Miss Universe.”

She will now serve as the chief marketing officer for Endeavor. Endeavor is an entertainment company that is a leading talent agency for celebrities and Saint John will “[focus] on a range of creative connections between its enormous talent portfolio and big brands (WME, IMG, UFC, Miss Universe).” Confirmed Uber.

Nothing else but her record in transforming a brand and helping companies achieve set targets has been the Black magic of Bozoma.

Saint John joined Uber in the midst of its scandals and her job was to help rebrand the company externally to create a shift in its image. Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi thanked her for her work in an email statement:

“Boz joined Uber at a time when the company was hurting — but her energy, optimism and creativity have been a key part of our ongoing turnaround.Endeavor is lucky to have her, and I’m excited to watch her work in her new role.”

Despite the huge transformation she brought to Uber within her short stay withbthe comapny, such as partnering with Lebron James and Kevin Durant, Saint John believes that her new position at Endeavor is where she truly belongs.  In an interview withThe Hollywood Reporter, she said;

“Everywhere I go, I do my best to contribute to solutions that help make a better culture and environment for women and women of color, specifically.Now that I’m in a more senior position to help impact policy and cultural norms, I feel very grateful to be able to represent in that way, and I have high expectations I’ll be able to contribute to the conversation at Endeavor and in the industry at large.”

Ms Saint John has seen quite daunting periods in her life. From losing her husband and raising her daughter alone. She truly is a fighter and deserve all that is now going for her. Right now she is unstoppable and rightly so as she calls herself, badazz Boz. Power to you lady Boz!
