The steel of will: inspired by formidable generational voices of change.

Every generation has been met with one challenge or another. And at each time, there have  been formidable voices that initiate a change that will drive that generation to a new day.

These individuals are not necessarily extraodinary people.  But, they have always  devised extra-ordinary means of changing the sound of the story with whatever talent and passion they possess.

Often these individuals are met with tough oppositions which often threaten their lives. But one thing has remained constant wih them . Their steel of will. Their steel of will have at all times remained resolute, unshaken and unwaivering. They have always been clear, firm and ready to die for what they believe in.

From today’s Serena Williams, Wole Soyinka to the then, Chinua Achebe, Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelou, to the historic voices such as Yaa Asantewa, John F Kennedy and Rosa Park. In these people you see the spirit of leadership that establish a powerful identity, values and beliefs. In assessing these men and women, we go deeper to uncover their distinct voices to extract one by one each of their unique sounds of impact on their generation.

Their indomitable sense of possibility is what drive them against all odds to make things happen, changing the course of their generation, often to their own personal detriment.

These are leaders in many different forms with powerful mindsets to inspire change and teach people that it can be done. They have the capacity to create and dominate their environment, they see the bigger picture and never abandon their vision. They lead by example.
Their collective and individual charater have taught us resilience, character and passion. And that it is not destination that matters to them but, the journey, disappointments, failure, pain and adversity that moulded them to become far greater leaders of their time using simply what they posses within.

Humanity has continued to benefit from such voices which today we recognise in history as the Steel of Will.
