Coco Gauff,15, wins her first WTA title in Linz, Austria becomes the youngest tennis player to do so.

Coco becomes the youngest player at 15 years to win a WTA singles title since Nicole Vaidisova in 2004. She also becomes the youngest U.S. woman to win a tour single since 1991 and she is also younger than both Serena and Venus Williams (both at 17) when they won their first titles. Coco before the tournament was ranked out of Top 100 but she will move up to 71 in the latest WTA ranking tomorrow.

Dina Asher-Smith becomes the first British woman to win a world sprint title. She won gold in 200m at the World Athletics Championships, yesterday.

Allyson Felix won her first Gold Medal as a Mother and now has more World Titles than any other Athlete.

Felix with 17 medals overall (12 gold + 3 silver and 2 bronze medals) already had the highest for male or female in world championship competitions. Attention will be on her to compete in next year’s Olympics in Tokyo, which would be her fifth one and also make her the oldest to do so in any gender.
