Junior Komolafe, a.k.a Komo, is a multi-talented and diverse performer.  The North London raised  singer, songwriter, rapper and performer is set to   bring his magic on at the C.Hub Magazine  anniversary fashion banquet on the 29th November at the Ravensbourne (Next door to the O2 Arena ) .

The Africa Woman singer is not only a talented musician but his adoring words to the African woman has won so many female fans to his act.  Just like many other talented musicians, Komo started out from his local church before finding his style and foot in the industry.  Performing at venues such as Hackney Empire and major club events . There’s no doubts then that he has quickly  become a highly sort after artist.

Komo’s  strong vocal and fantastic instrumental skills  have enabled him to produce  unique sounds across various genre’s; finding inspiration from legendary old school Nigerian artists such as King Sunny Adé, Lágbájá and Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

Komo continues to gain momentum and recognition for his artistry; producers such as Tishan (Chung), Yash (Stikmatik) and Tunde (Bass Four-Vee), identified his talents. Having had a very busy and successful last few years, Komo is about to release his latest single ‘African Woman’ produced by Tunde (Captain Music) whilst working on other future releases. Komo has recently become affiliated with up and coming artist such as Double S (Marvell Music), Tippaly (a North London rapper) and Solo 45 (BBK), he cites artists like Asa, Akon, R.Kelly, Sway Dasafo and D’Banj  as great inspiration giving credence to their versatility and unique style of music. He also notes Will Smith as a great source of inspiration.
