This year the colour of the season is pink and we couldn’t be happier. There is as shade to suit every skin tone and every occasion from pale pink to a dusty rose. It is also surprisingly easy to style with pieces that you already own. In case you need any more convincing, this versatile colour also makes you look younger, what more could you want?

To help you inject a splash of this pretty shade into your wardrobe we have some outfit suggestions for different occasions.

The cold and gloomy weather just makes us all want to wear black. Now that spring is just around the corner you can begin to introduce a little bit of colour. A lightweight pink coat is the perfect start.

For standing out

Geometric style prints will always be eye catching especially in slightly clashing hues. If you want to stand out even more then think about pairing pink with red for a real attention grabbing outfit.

Don’t forget that if you aren’t sure about adding a trend, or in this case colour, to your wardrobe you can always go for accessories over clothing. Accessories like a bag or pair of shoes can help you to get comfortable with a trend. This can be especially useful if you are someone that tends to go for more monochrome clothing. It can be a big jump to suddenly switch to a colourful palette. Even introducing a bright scarf to your outfit is a start.
