Do you keep natural hair and you want to learn how to keep your natural hair soft?

One of the reasons people avoid keeping their natural hair in its natural state is because of the fear of not being able to manage their hair because they think it is too strong or too hard to handle.

Whenever most people sight my natural hair, one of the things they quickly say is how they like natural hair, but how they can’t keep their natural hair because they feel their hair is ‘stubborn’ or can’t be easily managed.

As such, they refuse to keep their hair in its natural state, and they would rather add relaxer to their hair to make it softer.

However, not everyone has this fear, but it is a common fear most people deciding to keep their natural hair have.

And so, for anyone out there who want to keep her natural hair soft, here are simple ways you can make your natural hair soft:

  1. Moisturize your hair: moisturizing your hair often will make your hair soft and manageable. Not only that, it will make your hair healthy. You can moisturize your hair with water and leave-in conditioner, or with either of the two. Endeavour to do this frequently.
  2. Seal in moisture: whenever you moisturize your hair and add oils to your hair, ensure that you finish it by sealing in the moisture. This is will make the moisture last and avoid dryness. You can seal in moisture by applying butter or thick oils on your hair.
  3. Deep condition your hair frequently: you can set out time weekly or twice a month to deep condition your hair frequently. When you get into the habit of deep conditioning your hair frequently, your hair becomes more manageable. Purchase a good deep conditioner, and use it frequently and correctly.
  4. Rinse your hair with black tea: another way you can make your hair soft is by doing a tea rinse after washing your hair. This will make your hair soft, shiny, and free of dandruff.
