Fed up with the fraudulent claims of doctorate titles which has suddenly infested the Nigerian community in UK, Juliana Amadi who, obtained her PhD in Agriculture, Policy and Development at the University of Reading, took to her Facebook to pen an open letter to fellow Nigerians in UK.

Dr Juliana N Amadi.

Nigerians in the UK if you know people who bought these fake doctorates stop toasting them. Do not go to their events. Stop putting them in.places of honour. Do not give them a voice. De-throne them. Stop them from robbing us. Stand up for what is right. We the people Deserve and Demand better. No more lip service. Action.

She wrote,
“My dear friends – I cannot let this deceitful act go. If the Nigerian community continues to turn a blind eye to fraud and/or fraudalent claims we can never progress as a people.

We perpetuate these acts by our lack of action. Many have asked me to stop in my condemnation as it will.affect my personal and professional life. That is a risk I am prepared to take. Why should we as a community continue to let fraudsters and pretenders win whilst the hard workers, grafters, and honest lose because we are too afraid to fight back. You cannot even accuse me of jealousy…

Time to stand up to these people. If you bought a fake honorary degree resign and step down with dignity. If you helped perpetuate it you will be brought to book. You need to pay for your actions. I will not relent or stop until you are. I will not hide. What Nonsesnse.

Nigerians in the UK if you know people who bought these fake doctorates stop toasting them. Do not go to their events. Stop putting them in.places of honour. Do not give them a voice. De-throne them.
