EPL WEEK 7:IT’S REALLY TAKING SHAPE

6 KEY THINGS NOTED

HUGE AND FOUNDAMENTAL PROBLEM AT MANCHESTER UNITED-

Obviously MAN UNITED, has been poor recently, but few expected a shocking 3-1 defeat to THE HAMERRS at the lunchtime fixture on Saturday. Worryingly obvious was the ease at which the HAMMERS got their goals to secure the surprise win. It was a disjointed display which lacked both quality and coherence from UNITED. This is slowly looking more than effect of THE POGBA/MOURINHO FEUD. Neither should this be blamed on lack of summer signing as there is enough quality in the squad to produce a different performance, as we have seen with teams like WATFORD. The questions now are: Is the MOURINHO 3RD SEASON a myth? Should UNITED part ways with either of POGBA and MORINHO? Will a different manager solve this problem?
In few weeks we will be having a detailed look on this team.

WATFORD AND EUROPE

The magnificent start of the season performance and results of WATFORD seem not to be a fluke. They look like a team with genuine intent. ARSENAL were lucky to win this one. WATFORD were for the most part of the game, especially in the first half the better side. Created and squandered a lot of chances, while making it impossible for arsenal to create any chances. Even in defeat, they looked solid. They should at least be able to secure a EUROPA slot, if they can sustain this standard and attitude, while improving in taking their chances.

ARSENAL AND GOAL-KEEPING-

This is one obvious area that improvement has been evident in the team. PETER CECH requested coming with his goalkeeping coach when he signed for arsenal, but WENGER blocked it. Many arsenal fans had requested he be moved on this season, but all have a new song now. Though only secured the first clean sheets in the last two games, CECH has consistently had a MOTM performance so far this season. One of the main reasons arsenal has had seven straight wins in all competitions, notwithstanding their characteristic shambolic defensive attitude. The goalkeeping coach at the club needs to be applauded, as the new KEEPER (BERN LENO) also insured a clean sheet was kept with some fantastic saves, after coming in for injured CECH in the game.

HAZARD MUST BE KEPT FIT AND FRESH-

With yet another Sterling performance, capped with a goal, HAZARD has proved that he is that piece of the puzzle that must not miss, if CHELSEA are to have a meaningful achievement this season. He caused Liverpool all sorts of problems and notably also made uncountable defensive efforts in addition. This is the HAZARD Chelsea must see week in, week out, as their two strikers continue their goal drought.

KLOPP HAS DEPTH- For the 3rd straight games running, LIVERPOOL have secured points from the bench. Starting from the game against PSG in the UCL, and it continued against CHELSEA with STURRIDGE coming off the bench to ensure LIVERPOOL did not loose to CHELSEA. Players like KEITA also came on to sustain the fight and spectacle which paid off with the stunner from STURRIDGE.

ARSENAL FAITHFULS AND THEIR STYLE OF FOOTBALL —After seven games, it looks obvious that the EMIRATE FAITHFULS still have along wait to witness what they once nicknamed THE WENGER BALL from their team. Even with seven straight wins, which ironically has been long seen in recent times, they have not exhibited anything near the brand of football ARSENAL is known for. The fans might have to do with the wins while waiting patiently and hoping that EMRY and his army will come through and pleasure their eyes sooner than later. The team lacks cohesion and rhythm at the moment.
