Nigerian star artist, Tiwa Savage has announced her boycott of DSTV Delicious Festival in protest against xenophobic killing of Nigerians in South Africa.
She wrote, “I refuse to watch the barbaric butchering of my people in SA. This is SICK. For this reason I will NOT be performing at the upcoming DSTV delicious Festival in Johannesburg on the 21st of September. My prayers are with all the victims and families affected by this.”

Protesting against the recent xenophobic attack on Nigerians and other African nationals in South Africa which has seenscores of people killed, properties burnt and shops looted by South Africans. Nigerian celebrities and other African figures are leading the charge to condemn the inhumane attacks on fellow Africans and foreigners.

Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Malawi have also pulled out of the African leg of World Economic Forum to be held in cape town, which begin today till Friday.

The message is loud and clear, xenophobia is unacceptable and South African government must fix this for the last time.
