3 years ago Honestie's name came to the fore when police in Grand Rapids, Michigan brutalized and handcuffed her on the doorsteps of her home. She screamed in terror as her mother fought for her. The video went viral and caused lots of uproar in the US at the time.

Hundreds of them died alone, in pain, without their loved ones to fare them well in their last moments. Many, left to be buried by their helpless and often struggling, scared and already infected families and communities. They paid the ultimate price with their lives so that the UK will not be overwhelmed by the virus. They protected the NHS even as they lost their lives while the government continued to dither and dribble with empty words.

Most of these professionals came over here in the UK looking for greener pastures. Some of them are their families breadwinners and only hope both here and at their country homes. Some of them died in active services not counted or valued as a bonafide citizen of this country - the UK, yet they died giving their all. We will remember them.
