The Jump off TV is an energetic original content production of live dance and music performances. Launched in 2003 as a London street weekly hip hop event engaging the youths between 18 – 34. In just over a decade, Jump off has become a house hold name pulling weight in its own right as the place to discover talents in music, hip hop, dance, pop, and real time entertainment for all ages.

The shows/programmes  include –
The Friday Hip Hop Report UK – a weekly magazine show that recaps all the developments in urban culture from news & gossip to new releases and sales charts. With bonus footage and additional byte sized videos released throughout the week.

The dance madness – Dance Madness is the ultimate hip hop dance spectacle. Set in a gladiator style arena that resembles the Thunder dome, Hip Hop Dance Crews from London(UK), New York, LA and Atlanta battle in regional eliminators for a place in the grand finale.

The Next 48 Hours – documents the hourly activities of a celebrity around a major event or milestone in their career, focusing on The Day Before, The Day of and The Day After.

The Jump Off – is the breath and life of the online TV hub where Fashion, Music and the Arts collide creating a melting pot of urban youth culture. Featuring aspiring local talent competing in Fashion Shows, Live Model Shoots, Comedy, Rap, Dance, Singing & Producer Battles for cash prizes and bragging rights.

Being Charlie Sloth – Follows Charlie’s weekly struggles as a modern day artist coming up in the rap game.
Charlie Sloth is a British rap artist who does everything himself. He is his own Manager, Music Producer, Cameraman, Director, Video Editor, Creative, Street Team, Web Designer and most importantly, Rap Artist.

The Jump off TV has also tipped of on some more programmes being added to the TVs shows . In their coming soon – Spin the Mic  and  World Rap Championship .

Success stories.

In the past decade, The Jump off TV has produced talents that have gone on to become successful names  in the mainstream including –

Professor Green –  Who Won 7weeks MC Battle Champion title twice at The Jump Off as well as a number of other battles including a trip to Power Summit in Bahamas losing to Jin in the finals and a £50k MySpace battle vs Stig.  –  2003-2007 . Is now Signed to Mike Skinners ‘The Beats’ before they went under, then signed to Virgin and has had 2 top 5 singles and his debut album ‘Alive Til I’m Dead’ which went into the charts  at #2. 

 

Diversity – From  2004-2005 dramatically took KI (Marlon’s crew) off from their 2nd run to 7 wins (£2000). Battled 4 times at Jump Off overall.
and went on to become the   Winners of 2009 Britains Got Talent. Performed at Royal Variety Performance. Sold out their  UK tour.

Mr Hudson – In 2005 was the last ever standing Champion at The Jump Off Producer Battle and went on to be  Signed to Kanye West.

 

 

Labrinth – From  2004-2005 aged just 14, Labrinth entered the Producer battle at Jump Off and the Urban Music Seminar is now  Signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label, sung and produced his debut single ‘Let the Sun Shine’ charting at #3 and also produced the #1 ‘Pass Out’ & #2 ‘Frisky’charting Tinie Tempah hits.
