stephen marleyMultiple Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and celebrated Reggae producer, Stephen “Ragga” Marley, is set to release his fourth studio album, Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life, on 22 July.

Stephen “Ragga” Marley, will reveal another track from his forthcoming studio album, Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life (released by Ghetto Youths International via INGrooves), when the pre-order goes live today, May 27 via iTunes. Fans who preorder Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life will receive “Scars on My Feet” (feat. Waka Flocka), as an instant grat – the third track available from the release joining “Rock Stone” (ft. Capleton & Sizzla) and “Ghetto Boy” (ft. Bounty Killer & Cobra). Additionally, fans who do the digital pre-order will also receive additional instant-grat tracks on June 10, June 24 and July 8, those who wait for the physical release will receive a download card – bringing the total to 23 tracks for digital and 22 tracks for the 22 July physical release.

Produced by the Grammy-winning multi-instrumentalist, Revelation Part II: The Fruit of Life is the second installment of his two part series, following Revelation Part I: The Root of Life (2011). Whereas The Root of Life is more a traditional roots reggae album, The Fruit of Life will utilise a diversified sonic palette to express the far-reaching impact Jamaican music has had on various genres, especially hip hop. Produced by Marley, Fruit of Life boasts 18 new tracks and features a variety of guest collaborations with Rick Ross, Pit Bull, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Iggy Azalea, Waka Flocka, Dead Prez, Rakim, DJ Khaled, Busta Rhymes, Wyclef Jean, Shaggy, Black Thought (of The Roots), Bounty Killer, Sizzla, Capleton, Ky-Mani Marley, Jo Mersa and more.

“The Fruit is about the different branches; there are many pages within my mind, many colors and ideas” says Marley. “We come from a versatile generation that can’t be put in a box.”

Marley will spend the summer on the road sharing The Fruit with a coast-to-coast U.S. run including multiple festivals and encompassing 44 cities ending in New Orleans on Sunday, 24 July.

Stephen “Ragga” Marley is the second eldest son of reggae legend Bob Marley and Rita Marley. He was raised in Kingston, Jamaica and started singing professionally at seven-years old with his elder siblings Ziggy, Sharon and Cedella as The Melody Makers. The singer, songwriter, musician and producer has consecutively landed #1 on the U.S. Billboard Reggae Album Chart for all of his solo albums and has earned a total of eight Grammys for Best Reggae Album.
