Congolese art collector and businessman – Sindika Dokolo- has died; following a maritime accident, scuba diving in Dubai.
Sindika Dokolo was the founder of the movement, The Congolese Standing and husband to Isabel Dos Santos, Africa’s richest woman.
Sindika and his wife were being investigated over a $1.136 billion mismanagement of state funds and their assets were frozen in December 2019.
He owned 3,000 pieces of contemporary African art.
