The UK Caribbean Food Awards
The UK Caribbean Food Awards are the first of their kind, celebrating the best in Caribbean food and drink in the UK. The awards are open to all businesses, from restaurants and takeaways to bakeries and beverage companies.
There are 7 categories in total:
- Best Restaurant
- Best Takeaway
- Best Bakery
- Best African & Best Latin Eateries
- Best Beverage
- Best Vegan and Vegetarian Eatery
Winners will receive a PR package to help them promote their win, as well as cash prizes and trophies. They will also be invited to attend a fabulous awards evening at The Marriott Hotel, London, on Monday, October 9th, 2023.
The awards are hosted by Brenda Emmanus and Fredi Nwaka, and sponsored by Just Eat.
The awards are the brainchild of Dawn Burton and Marsha Barnett, the founders of The Caribbean Food Collective. The Collective connects, promotes, and supports UK-based Caribbean Food & Drink businesses. They believe that the industry needs a prestigious awards ceremony of its own, and the UK Caribbean Food Awards are the perfect way to celebrate the hard work of Caribbean food businesses in the UK.
The awards are open for free entry, and customers can nominate their favourite establishment. The deadline for nominations is September 1st, 2023.
