While the weather seems to be getting colder again it only makes us long for the warmer weather that bit more. We have been busy planning our spring summer 2018 wardrobes using the catwalks for a spot of inspiration. With this in mind we have put together five fashion trends we think you should watch out for this season.

Pretty Pastels

Just because a look is pretty it doesn’t mean it is any less powerful. We are glad to see that pastels are hanging around with delicate pinks and greens. Even lilac is set to make a comeback this season. If you aren’t sure about wearing lilac we suggest you grab yourself a lilac bag right away.

Puff Sleeves

It’s a bit of a throw back to the 80s with this trend but it is more wearable than you would think. Puff sleeve jackets with high waisted jeans were seen on the catwalks but if that isn’t for you why not give a puff sleeve shirt a try. This A shirt teamed with smart trousers would look great for the office.

Statement Shorts

Hands up who only wears shorts on holiday? It’s time to embrace wearing shorts and there are plenty of styles to choose from. This season we have spotted silk and high waisted leather in a variety of lengths, are there are even shorts suits. A tailored pair of shorts that finish at the knee will always be the most flattering.

Rain Macs

Who said fashion isn’t functional? The weather in the UK tends to be so unpredictable that it is probably work investing in this trend. A transparent plastic mac means that you don’t have to hide your amazing outfit under your outerwear while you stay dry.

Summer Florals

It wouldn’t be summer without a floral print. If you love a really feminine look then you won’t be disappointed. From Liberty style prints to ditsy florals there is a print for everyone.
