Racism and its effects on successive generations of people of colour have been the focus of a number of news stories in recent months. Due to the suspension of the top-tier league in Togo as a result of coronavirus pandemic, Kossi Koudagba left the city of Kara and headed to his childhood town Devie (in the suburbs of the capital Lomé) to spend time with his family members.
