We've been all Lupita forward since the beautiful young soul appeared on world screen with her role in 12 years a slave grabbing every award on her way. We all have had a total breath of fresh air.  She arguably is the most beautiful face in Nollywood , best dressed at all times. But this        At last night's MET Gala is not  to everyone's taste. No doubt she pulled it of as always, but the ensemble and the entire lace net, grassy jungle thing hasn't worked to her credit at all.

Ghanaian celebrated designer Kofi Ansah dies.

Kofi Ansah who designed the costumes for the opening and closing ceremony of the CAN 2008 African Cup of Nations hosted by Ghana also the designed the Anniversary fabric for the Ghana's Golden Jubilee Celebration has passed on . The renowned African international designer was also the winner the prestigious Millennium 2000 African Fashion Awards. This creatively talented designer has been known as one of the pioneers of the changing faces of Ghanaian fashion and Africa in general. His eye for details, innovation and creativity sets him apart as he continued to create wearable arts with his concepts and design. He studied fashion design at the Chelsea School of Art in London and graduated with 1st class honours in fashion design and distinction in design technology and since then never stopped to create distinct elegant designs with western touch, yet emphasizing Ghanaian identity through his designs. His clientele spanned from both the US, UK and Africa. He's work has widely graced several fashion runways both at home and internationally.

BMW 2014 jazz award goes to Hildegard Lernt Fliegen

The BMW jazz award has become an integral part of the European jazz scene, and we are already looking forward to its seventh season next year. Ian Robertson as he presented the award said he was "satisfied with the choice of this year's winners and thanked everyone involved for their dedication and passion, and for making the event such a great success,” Last night’s outstanding final concert of the series BMW Welt Jazz Award 2014, the Swiss sextet “Hildegard Lernt Fliegen” and the Dutch trio “Tin Men and the Telephone” performed in the auditorium of the BMW Welt to compete for the award . With the auditorium of the BMW Welt sold out, the two ensembles performed in front of about 550 spectators. Following the motto “Sense of Humour”, they presented a mix of musical perfection and humoristic interpretation. Finally, the jury of experts decided on Hildegard Lernt Fliegen as the winner.
